Our People

We encourage our associates to grow personally and professionally by providing a stimulating work environment that encourages them to do their best, have fun, support each other and and think as part of your team.  We believe that no other firm offers such a diverse group of qualified professionals.

We asked our team a list of questions on various topics which included their favorite quote, what would they take on a desert island and yes, what they liked most about working at SIRS. Below are images of a few of our associates and their answers.

GARY - I've been at SIRS since the beginning of time.

What I like about work is it helps people make meaningful decisions.

My favorite things are my family, carpentry, baseball and golf.

My best life experience has been the birth of my four children.

Best lesson I'ver learned is to give it your best shot and be true to yourself.

CHRIS O. - One of my favorite quotes is " Four pillars of a great life: Have fun, do your best, never quit and never be afraid to fail." (Advice I give my son, Mack.)

I'd rather be ash than dust.  I would rather my spark burn out in  a brilliant blaze than be stifled by dry rot.I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and perseverant plaent.  The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. (Jack London)

My co-workers have helped me realize that I never knew how stupid bosses could be until I started working for myself.

SHANNON - My favorite sports team is the Chicago Bears!

My most inspiring person is my Great Grandma.

In my free time I like to scrapbook, spend time with family & friends, decorate and make improvements or enhancements to our house.

My most inspiring person is Grace Kelly.

ELYSHA - I've been at SIRS since 2000.  My best work experience has been learning new skills everyday.

The most inspiring person to me is anyone who has overcome adversity and remained or became a good person.

The one thing I would take on a deserted island would be a library of who-done-it books.

JAN - If I could meet one famous person, it would be Oprah to discuss or a good book (or Martha Stewart to discuss stock tips!)
